NoCon is a non-formal get-together inspired by the short-lived Anthocon, which many of us loved attending. A place to let your hair down, gather with old friends, meet new ones, and maybe talk a little business.

and will stay through the morning of Sunday, September 16th)
The Riverside Room
250 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH 03101
*** PLEASE NOTE — We have changed the venue for Nocon. The original conference center located adjacent to the hotel informed me that they had made an error. Long story short, they doubled booked the convention center.
In order to make it up , they found a new place for us to meet one mile away from the hotel. The venue is called The Riverside Room, and man, it is perfect. The price is almost twice what we paid, but the original conference center is covering all the costs. We got a great deal on this place! The whole area is beautiful, with colleges, tech companies, and small businesses everywhere. There are also art galleries and museums. Dean Kamen owns one of the buildings.
The Riverside Room is huge, it will hold 100 people no problem, and we can put the dealers tables in the room. It is in the refurbished Waumbec Mill building, and it is rustic and very cool looking. One side of the room overlooks the Merrimack River, and adjacent to the room is a cafe. When Scott and I were there yesterday, they were repaving the parking lot behind the building, so there will be plenty of free parking.
The hotel is separate from the convention center and there is no change to our reservations and pricing. I spoke to them on Friday and they said all but four rooms have been reserved. If you want to make a reservation, use the code word Nocon for the discount.
